ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਪਿਆਸ ਦਰਸਨ ਘਣੀ; ਕੋਈ ਆਣਿ ਮਿਲਾਵੈ ਮਾਇ ॥
man tan piaas darasan ghanee; koee aan milaavai maae |
ਮੇਰੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਿ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਤ੍ਰੇਹ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਦੇਵੇ, ਹੇ ਮਾਤਾ!
My mind and body are so thirsty for the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. Won't someone please come and lead me to him, O my mother.
ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੇ; ਹਉ. ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਲਾਗਾ ਪਾਇ ॥
sant sahaaee prem ke; hau. tin kai laagaa paae |
ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੀ ਮੰਜਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਾਧੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
The Saints are the helpers of the Lord's lovers; I fall and touch their feet.
ਵਿਣੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ. ਕਿਉ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਈਐ; ਦੂਜੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥
vin prabh. kiau sukh paaeeai; doojee naahee jaae |
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਰਾਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਗ੍ਰਾ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
Without God, how can I find peace? There is nowhere else to go.
ਜਿੰਨੑੀ ਚਾਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰਸੁ; ਸੇ ਤਿ੍ਰਪਤਿ ਰਹੇ ਆਘਾਇ ॥
jinaee chaakhiaa prem ras; se tripat rahe aaghaae |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਰਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਧ੍ਰਾਪੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who have tasted the sublime essence of His Love, remain satisfied and fulfilled.
ਆਪੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਬਿਨਤੀ ਕਰਹਿ; ਲੇਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲੜਿ ਲਾਇ ॥
aap tiaag binatee kareh; lehu prabhoo larr laae |
ਸਵੈ-ਹੰਗਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਿਰਤ ਕਰਕੇ, ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ ਲੈ।
They renounce their selfishness and conceit, and they pray, "God, please attach me to the hem of Your robe."
ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਕੰਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਈਆ; ਸਿ ਵਿਛੁੜਿ. ਕਤਹਿ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
jo har kant milaaeea; si vichhurr. kateh na jaae |
ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਜੂਦਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ।
Those whom the Husband Lord has united with Himself, shall not be separated from Him again.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਵਿਣੁ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋ ਨਹੀ; ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਸਰਣਾਇ ॥
prabh vin doojaa ko nahee; naanak har saranaae |
ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਨਾਨਕ ਨੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਣਾਗਤ ਸੰਭਾਲੀ ਹੈ।
Without God, there is no other at all. Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of the Lord.
ਅਸੂ ਸੁਖੀ ਵਸੰਦੀਆ; ਜਿਨਾ. ਮਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥੮॥
asoo sukhee vasandeea; jinaa. meaa har raae |8|
ਅੱਸੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਰਾਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
In Assu, the Lord, the Sovereign King, has granted His Mercy, and they dwell in peace. ||8||
ਕਤਿਕਿ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਣੇ; ਦੋਸੁ. ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਜੋਗੁ ॥
katik karam kamaavane; dos. na kaahoo jog |
ਕੱਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਅਮਲ ਕਰ। ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਉਤੇ ਇਲਜਾਮ ਲਾਉਣਾ ਮੁਨਾਸਬ ਨਹੀਂ।
In the month of Katak, do good deeds. Do not try to blame anyone else.
ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਤੇ ਭੁਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਆਪਨਿ ਸਭੇ ਰੋਗ ॥
paramesar te bhuliaan viaapan sabhe rog |
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾਉਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬੀਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਚਿਮੜ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Forgetting the Transcendent Lord, all sorts of illnesses are contracted.
ਵੇਮੁਖ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਮ ਤੇ; ਲਗਨਿ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਜੋਗ ॥
vemukh hoe raam te; lagan janam vijog |
ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਾਂ ਰਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮਾਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਛੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who turn their backs on the Lord shall be separated from Him and consigned to reincarnation, over and over again.
ਖਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਕਉੜੇ ਹੋਇ ਗਏ; ਜਿਤੜੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਭੋਗ ॥
khin meh kaurre hoe ge; jitarre maaeaa bhog |
ਇਕ ਮੁਹਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਨ ਦੌਲਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੰਗ ਰਸ ਤਲਖ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
In an instant, all of Maya's sensual pleasures turn bitter.
ਵਿਚੁ. ਨ ਕੋਈ ਕਰਿ ਸਕੈ; ਕਿਸ ਥੈ ਰੋਵਹਿ ਰੋਜ ॥
vich. na koee kar sakai; kis thai roveh roj |
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਵਿਚੋਲਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਨਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਕੀਹਦੇ ਮੂਹਰੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰਨਗੇ?
No one can then serve as your intermediary. Unto whom can we turn and cry?
ਕੀਤਾ. ਕਿਛੂ ਨ ਹੋਵਈ; ਲਿਖਿਆ ਧੁਰਿ ਸੰਜੋਗ ॥

ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ, ਐਨ ਆਰੰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਲਿਖੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
By one's own actions, nothing can be done; destiny was pre-determined from the very beginning.
ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਿਲੈ; ਤਾਂ ਉਤਰਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਬਿਓਗ ॥
vaddabhaagee meraa prabh milai; taan utareh sabh biog |
ਭਾਰੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਦ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਦੇ ਦੁਖੜੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
By great good fortune, I meet my God, and then all pain of separation departs.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ. ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹਿ; ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਬੰਦੀ ਮੋਚ ॥
naanak kau. prabh raakh lehi; mere saahib bandee moch |
ਤੂੰ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਾਲਕ!
Please protect Nanak, God; O my Lord and Master, please release me from bondage.
ਕਤਿਕ ਹੋਵੈ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੁ; ਬਿਨਸਹਿ ਸਭੇ ਸੋਚ ॥੯॥
katik hovai saadhasang; binaseh sabhe soch |9|
ਕੱਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਤਿਸੰਗਤ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਫਿਕਰ ਅੰਦੇਸੇ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
In Katak, in the Company of the Holy, all anxiety vanishes. ||9||
ਮੰਘਿਰਿ ਮਾਹਿ ਸੋਹੰਦੀਆ; ਹਰਿ ਪਿਰ ਸੰਗਿ ਬੈਠੜੀਆਹ ॥
manghir maeh sohandeea; har pir sang baittharreeaah |
ਮੱਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
In the month of Maghar, those who sit with their Beloved Husband Lord are beautiful.
ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਕਿਆ ਗਣੀ; ਜਿ ਸਾਹਿਬਿ ਮੇਲੜੀਆਹ ॥
tin kee sobhaa kiaa ganee; ji saahib melarreeaah |
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਿਣਿਆਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ?
How can their glory be measured? Their Lord and Master blends them with Himself.
ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਮਉਲਿਆ ਰਾਮ ਸਿਉ; ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਧ ਸਹੇਲੜੀਆਹ ॥
tan man mauliaa raam siau; sang saadh sahelarreeaah |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹੇਲਪਣਾ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਹਿ ਤੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਫੂਲਤ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Their bodies and minds blossom forth in the Lord; they have the companionship of the Holy Saints.
ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੀ; ਸੇ ਰਹਨਿ ਇਕੇਲੜੀਆਹ ॥
saadh janaa te baaharee; se rehan ikelarreeaah |
ਜੋ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਞੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਕੱਲਮਕੱਲੇ ਹੀ ਵਸਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who lack the Company of the Holy, remain all alone.
ਤਿਨ ਦੁਖੁ. ਨ ਕਬਹੂ ਉਤਰੈ; ਸੇ ਜਮ ਕੈ ਵਸਿ ਪੜੀਆਹ ॥
tin dukh. na kabahoo utarai; se jam kai vas parreeaah |
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਕਦਾਚਿੱਤ ਦੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਦੇ ਪੰਜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Their pain never departs, and they fall into the grip of the Messenger of Death.
ਜਿਨੀ ਰਾਵਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਣਾ; ਸੇ ਦਿਸਨਿ ਨਿਤ ਖੜੀਆਹ ॥
jinee raaviaa prabh aapanaa; se disan nit kharreeaah |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਖਲੋਤੀਆਂ ਦਿਸਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Those who have ravished and enjoyed their God, are seen to be continually exalted and uplifted.
ਰਤਨ ਜਵੇਹਰ ਲਾਲ ਹਰਿ; ਕੰਠਿ ਤਿਨਾ ਜੜੀਆਹ ॥
ratan javehar laal har; kantth tinaa jarreeaah |
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਲਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਹਿਰਾਤ, ਮਾਣਕਾ ਤੇ ਹੀਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
They wear the Necklace of the jewels, emeralds and rubies of the Lord's Name.
ਨਾਨਕ ਬਾਂਛੈ ਧੂੜਿ ਤਿਨ; ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣੀ ਦਰਿ ਪੜੀਆਹ ॥
naanak baanchhai dhoorr tin; prabh saranee dar parreeaah |
ਨਾਨਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਕ ਲੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਤੇ ਡਿਗਦੇ ਹਨ।
Nanak seeks the dust of the feet of those who take to the Sanctuary of the Lord's Door.
ਮੰਘਿਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਰਾਧਣਾ; ਬਹੁੜਿ. ਨ ਜਨਮੜੀਆਹ ॥੧੦॥
manghir prabh aaraadhanaa; bahurr. na janamarreeaah |10|
ਜੋ ਮਘਰ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਜਨਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਧਾਰਦੇ।
Those who worship and adore God in Maghar, do not suffer the cycle of reincarnation ever again. ||10||
ਪੋਖਿ. ਤੁਖਾਰੁ ਨ ਵਿਆਪਈ; ਕੰਠਿ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਹੁ ॥
pokh. tukhaar na viaapee; kantth miliaa har naahu |
ਪੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਲਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੋਹੰਦਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਪਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the month of Poh, the cold does not touch those, whom the Husband Lord hugs close in His Embrace.
ਮਨੁ ਬੇਧਿਆ ਚਰਨਾਰਬਿੰਦ; ਦਰਸਨਿ ਲਗੜਾ ਸਾਹੁ ॥
man bedhiaa charanaarabind; darasan lagarraa saahu |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਉਸਦੇ ਕੰਵਲ ਰੂਪੀ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Their minds are transfixed by His Lotus Feet. They are attached to the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan.
ਓਟ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਰਾਇ; ਸੇਵਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਲਾਹੁ ॥
ott govind gopaal raae; sevaa suaamee laahu |
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੈ ਜੋ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਲਮ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣ-ਪੋਸਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ। ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ।
Seek the Protection of the Lord of the Universe; His service is truly profitable.
ਬਿਖਿਆ. ਪੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਕਈ; ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਧੂ. ਗੁਣ ਗਾਹੁ ॥
bikhiaa. pohi na sakee; mil saadhoo. gun gaahu |
ਸੰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਟ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇਗਾ।
Corruption shall not touch you, when you join the Holy Saints and sing the Lord's Praises.
ਜਹ ਤੇ ਉਪਜੀ. ਤਹ ਮਿਲੀ; ਸਚੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਮਾਹੁ ॥
jeh te upajee. teh milee; sachee preet samaahu |
ਸੱਚੇ ਸਨੇਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੋਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਆਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਭੇਦ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੋਂ ਇਹ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
From where it originated, there the soul is blended again. It is absorbed in the Love of the True Lord.
ਕਰੁ ਗਹਿ ਲੀਨੀ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ; ਬਹੁੜਿ. ਨ ਵਿਛੁੜੀਆਹੁ ॥
kar geh leenee paarabraham; bahurr. na vichhurreeaahu |
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਪਕੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਜੁਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
When the Supreme Lord God grasps someone's hand, he shall never again suffer separation from Him.
ਬਾਰਿ ਜਾਉ. ਲਖ ਬੇਰੀਆ; ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣੁ. ਅਗਮ ਅਗਾਹੁ ॥
baar jaau. lakh bereea; har sajan. agam agaahu |
ਲੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਰੀ ਮੈਂ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਥਾਹ ਦੋਸਤ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਤੋਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
I am a sacrifice, 100,000 times, to the Lord, my Friend, the Unapproachable and Unfathomable.
ਸਰਮ ਪਈ ਨਾਰਾਇਣੈ; ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਿ ਪਈਆਹੁ ॥
saram pee naaraaeinai; naanak dar peeaahu |
ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਤੇ ਢਹਿ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਰਵਾਜੇ ਤੇ ਢੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੀ ਲਜਿਆ ਪਾਲਣੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ।
Please preserve my honor, Lord; Nanak begs at Your Door.
ਪੋਖੁ ਸੁੋਹੰਦਾ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ; ਜਿਸੁ ਬਖਸੇ ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ॥੧੧॥
pokh suohandaa sarab sukh; jis bakhase veparavaahu |11|
ਪੋਹ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੇਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਮੁਥਾਜ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮਾਫੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Poh is beautiful, and all comforts come to that one, whom the Carefree Lord has forgiven. ||11||
ਮਾਘਿ. ਮਜਨੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਸਾਧੂਆ; ਧੂੜੀ ਕਰਿ ਇਸਨਾਨੁ ॥

ਮਾਘ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਤਿਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਰੈਣ ਅੰਦਰ ਨ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਅਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਸਲ ਸਮਾਨ ਜਾਣ।
In the month of Maagh, let your cleansing bath be the dust of the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਸੁਣਿ; ਸਭਨਾ ਨੋ ਕਰਿ ਦਾਨੁ ॥
har kaa naam dhiaae sun; sabhanaa no kar daan |
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰ ਤੇ ਸਰਵਣ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਖੈਰਾਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ।
Meditate and listen to the Name of the Lord, and give it to everyone.
ਜਨਮ ਕਰਮ ਮਲੁ ਉਤਰੈ; ਮਨ ਤੇ ਜਾਇ ਗੁਮਾਨੁ ॥
janam karam mal utarai; man te jaae gumaan |
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲਾ ਦੀ ਗਿਲਾਜਤ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਉਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
In this way, the filth of lifetimes of karma shall be removed, and egotistical pride shall vanish from your mind.
