ਮਨਮੁਖ ਖੋਟੀ ਰਾਸਿ; ਖੋਟਾ ਪਾਸਾਰਾ ॥
manamukh khottee raas; khottaa paasaaraa |
ਕੂੜੀ ਹੈ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਤੇ ਕੂੜਾ ਹੀ ਅਡੰਬਰ ਅਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ।
The wealth of the self-willed manmukhs is false, and false is their ostentatious display.
ਕੂੜੁ ਕਮਾਵਨਿ; ਦੁਖੁ ਲਾਗੈ ਭਾਰਾ ॥
koorr kamaavan; dukh laagai bhaaraa |
ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਕਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਧਣਾ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਸਹਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
They practice falsehood, and suffer terrible pain.
ਭਰਮੇ ਭੂਲੇ ਫਿਰਨਿ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤੀ; ਮਰਿ ਜਨਮਹਿ ਜਨਮੁ ਗਵਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥
bharame bhoole firan din raatee; mar janameh janam gavaavaniaa |7|
ਸੰਦੇਹ ਦੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਏ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਦਿਹੁੰ ਰੈਣ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਿੰਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਗੁਆ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Deluded by doubt, they wander day and night; through birth and death, they lose their lives. ||7||
ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ; ਮੈ ਅਤਿ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥
sachaa saahib; mai at piaaraa |
ਸੱਚਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖਰਾ ਹੀ ਮਿੱਠੜਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
My True Lord and Master is very dear to me.
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥

ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ।

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਨ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।
O Nanak, one who obtains the Greatness of the Naam, looks upon pain and pleasure as one and the same. ||8||10||11||

ਤੇਰੀਆ ਖਾਣੀ; ਤੇਰੀਆ ਬਾਣੀ ॥

ਤੇਰੇ ਹਨ (ਚਾਰੋਂ ਹੀ) ਊਤਪਤੀ ਤੇ ਸੋਮੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਚਾਰੋਂ ਹੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਵਸਥਾ।
The four sources of creation are Yours; the spoken word is Yours.
ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ; ਸਭ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਣੀ ॥
bin naavai; sabh bharam bhulaanee |
ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਦੇ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
Without the Name, all are deluded by doubt.
ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੇ. ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਾਇਆ; ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ. ਕੋਇ ਨ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਾਕਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਸਾਈਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ।
Serving the Guru, the Lord's Name is obtained. Without the True Guru, no one can receive it. ||1||
ਹਉ ਵਾਰੀ ਜੀਉ ਵਾਰੀ; ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥
hau vaaree jeeo vaaree; har setee chit laavaniaa |
ਮੈਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਊਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਿਰਤੀ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
I am a sacrifice, my soul is a sacrifice, to those who focus their consciousness on the Lord.
ਹਰਿ ਸਚਾ. ਗੁਰ ਭਗਤੀ ਪਾਈਐ; ਸਹਜੇ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har sachaa. gur bhagatee paaeeai; sahaje man vasaavaniaa |1| rahaau |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ, ਸੱਚਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖੈਨ ਹੀ ਆ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਟਿੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
Through devotion to the Guru, the True One is found; He comes to abide in the mind, with intuitive ease. ||1||Pause||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੇ; ਤਾ ਸਭ ਕਿਛੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
satigur seve; taa sabh kichh paae |
ਜੇਕਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਲ ਕਮਾਵੇ ਤਦ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Serving the True Guru, all things are obtained.
ਜੇਹੀ ਮਨਸਾ ਕਰਿ ਲਾਗੈ; ਤੇਹਾ ਫਲੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
jehee manasaa kar laagai; tehaa fal paae |
ਜੇਹੋ ਜੇਹੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਉਹ ਸੇਵਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੁੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਊਹੋ ਜੇਹਾ ਹੀ ਸਿਲਾ ਉਹ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
As are the desires one harbors, so are the rewards one receives.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਦਾਤਾ. ਸਭਨਾ ਵਥੂ ਕਾ; ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੨॥
satigur daataa. sabhanaa vathoo kaa; poorai bhaag milaavaniaa |2|
ਸੱਚਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੈਆਂ ਦੇਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ। ਪੂਰਨ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਸੀਬਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਹ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
The True Guru is the Giver of all things; through perfect destiny, He is met. ||2||
ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਮੈਲਾ; ਇਕੁ. ਨ ਧਿਆਏ ॥
eihu man mailaa; ik. na dhiaae |
ਇਹ ਗੰਦਾ ਮਨ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।
This mind is filthy and polluted; it does not meditate on the One.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਲਾਗੀ ਬਹੁ; ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਏ ॥
antar mail laagee bahu; doojai bhaae |
ਇਹ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਦਵੈਤ ਭਾਵ ਦੇ ਘਣੇ ਹੀ ਗੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਬੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Deep within, it is soiled and stained by the love of duality.
ਤਟਿ ਤੀਰਥਿ ਦਿਸੰਤਰਿ ਭਵੈ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ; ਹੋਰੁ ਵਧੇਰੈ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਲੁ ਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੩॥
tatt teerath disantar bhavai ahankaaree; hor vadherai haumai mal laavaniaa |3|
ਮਗਰੂਰ ਬੰਦਾ, ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਕਿਨਾਰਿਆਂ, ਧਰਮ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਪਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਟਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਹੋਰ ਘਣੀ ਗਿਲਾਜਤ ਚਿਮੜ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
The egotists may go on pilgrimages to holy rivers, sacred shrines and foreign lands, but they only gather more of the dirt of egotism. ||3||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੇ; ਤਾ ਮਲੁ ਜਾਏ ॥

ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਮਾਵੇ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਲੀਨਤਾ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Serving the True Guru, filth and pollution are removed.
ਜੀਵਤੁ ਮਰੈ; ਹਰਿ ਸਿਉ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ॥
jeevat marai; har siau chit laae |
ਜੋ ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਜੀ ਮਰਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Those who focus their consciousness on the Lord remain dead while yet alive.
ਹਰਿ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਸਚੁ. ਮੈਲੁ ਨ ਲਾਗੈ; ਸਚਿ ਲਾਗੈ. ਮੈਲੁ ਗਵਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੪॥

ਸਾਫ ਸੁਥਰਾ ਹੈ ਸੱਚਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਗ਼ਿਲਾਜਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਿਮੜਦੀ। ਜੋ ਸੱਚ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਿਲਾਜਤ ਧੋ ਸੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ।
The True Lord is Pure; no filth sticks to Him. Those who are attached to the True One have their filth washed away. ||4||
ਬਾਝੁ ਗੁਰੂ; ਹੈ ਅੰਧ ਗੁਬਾਰਾ ॥
baajh guroo; hai andh gubaaraa |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਘੁਪ ਹੈ।
Without the Guru, there is only pitch darkness.
ਅਗਿਆਨੀ ਅੰਧਾ; ਅੰਧੁ ਅੰਧਾਰਾ ॥
agiaanee andhaa; andh andhaaraa |
ਬੇ-ਸਮਝ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਹੈ।
The ignorant ones are blind-there is only utter darkness for them.
ਬਿਸਟਾ ਕੇ ਕੀੜੇ. ਬਿਸਟਾ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ; ਫਿਰਿ ਬਿਸਟਾ ਮਾਹਿ ਪਚਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੫॥
bisattaa ke keerre. bisattaa kamaaveh; fir bisattaa maeh pachaavaniaa |5|
ਗੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਰਮ ਮਲੀਨ ਅਮਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਕੁਕਰਮਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਗਲ-ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The maggots in manure do filthy deeds, and in filth they rot and putrefy. ||5||
ਮੁਕਤੇ ਸੇਵੇ; ਮੁਕਤਾ ਹੋਵੈ ॥

ਕਲਿਆਣ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਏ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਖੁਦ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਪਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Serving the Lord of Liberation, liberation is achieved.
ਹਉਮੈ ਮਮਤਾ; ਸਬਦੇ ਖੋਵੈ ॥
haumai mamataa; sabade khovai |
ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਵੈ-ਹੰਗਤਾ ਤੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The Word of the Shabad eradicates egotism and possessiveness.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਸਚਾ ਸੇਵੀ; ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੬॥
anadin har jeeo sachaa sevee; poorai bhaag gur paavaniaa |6|
ਰੈਣ ਦਿਹੁੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤਵੰਤੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਰ। ਪੂਰਨ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਸੀਬਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
So serve the Dear True Lord, night and day. By perfect good destiny, the Guru is found. ||6||
ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸੇ; ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥
aape bakhase; mel milaae |
ਸਾਈਂ ਖੁਦ ਮਾਫੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He Himself forgives and unites in His Union.
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ; ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਏ ॥
poore gur te; naam nidh paae |
ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
From the Perfect Guru, the Treasure of the Naam is obtained.
ਸਚੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਦਾ ਮਨੁ ਸਚਾ; ਸਚੁ ਸੇਵੇ. ਦੁਖੁ ਗਵਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥

ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਾਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਗਮ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
By the True Name, the mind is made true forever. Serving the True Lord, sorrow is driven out. ||7||
ਸਦਾ ਹਜੂਰਿ; ਦੂਰਿ ਨ ਜਾਣਹੁ ॥
sadaa hajoor; door na jaanahu |
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਦੀਵ ਹੀ ਐਨ ਲਾਗੇ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਰੇਡਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਨਾਂ ਕਰੋ।
He is always close at hand-do not think that He is far away.
ਗੁਰਸਬਦੀ; ਹਰਿ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਛਾਣਹੁ ॥
gurasabadee; har antar pachhaanahu |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਊਪਦੇਸ਼ ਤਾਬੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰੋ।
Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, recognize the Lord deep within your own being.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਨਾਮਿ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਿਆਈ; ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੮॥੧੧॥੧੨॥

O Nanak, through the Naam, glorious greatness is received. Through the Perfect Guru, the Naam is obtained. ||8||11||12||

ਜਿਹੜਾ ਏਥੇ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਭੀ ਸੱਚਾ ਹੈ।
Those who are True here, are True hereafter as well.
ਮਨੁ ਸਚਾ; ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਰਾਚੇ ॥
man sachaa; sachai sabad raache |
ਸੱਚੀ ਹੈ ਆਤਮਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੈ।
That mind is true, which is attuned to the True Shabad.
ਸਚਾ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸਚੁ ਕਮਾਵਹਿ; ਸਚੋ ਸਚੁ ਕਮਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥
sachaa seveh sach kamaaveh; sacho sach kamaavaniaa |1|
ਸੱਚੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਜਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਊਹ ਕਿਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
They serve the True One, and practice Truth; they earn Truth, and only Truth. ||1||
ਹਉ ਵਾਰੀ. ਜੀਉ ਵਾਰੀ; ਸਚਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਵਣਿਆ ॥
hau vaaree. jeeo vaaree; sachaa naam man vasaavaniaa |
ਮੈਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੜੀ ਸਦਕੇ ਹੈ ਊਸ ਉਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕਾਊਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
I am a sacrifice, my soul is a sacrifice, to those whose minds are filled with the True Name.
ਸਚੇ ਸੇਵਹਿ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਵਹਿ; ਸਚੇ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sache seveh sach samaaveh; sache ke gun gaavaniaa |1| rahaau |
ਉਹ ਸਤਿਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਖਿਦਮਤ ਗੁਜਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਤਿਪੁਰਖ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਪੁਰਖ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
They serve the True One, and are absorbed into the True One, singing the Glorious Praises of the True One. ||1||Pause||
ਪੰਡਿਤ ਪੜਹਿ; ਸਾਦੁ. ਨ ਪਾਵਹਿ ॥

ਪੰਡਤ ਧਾਰਮਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਾਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਊਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਦ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦਾ।
The Pandits, the religious scholars read, but they do not taste the essence.
ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ; ਮਾਇਆ ਮਨੁ ਭਰਮਾਵਹਿ ॥
doojai bhaae; maaeaa man bharamaaveh |
ਦਵੈਤ-ਭਾਵ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਊਸ ਦਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
In love with duality and Maya, their minds wander, unfocused.
ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹਿ. ਸਭ ਸੁਧਿ ਗਵਾਈ; ਕਰਿ ਅਵਗਣ ਪਛੋਤਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੨॥
maaeaa mohi. sabh sudh gavaaee; kar avagan pachhotaavaniaa |2|
ਧਨ ਦੌਲਤ ਦੀ ਲਗਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਕਲ ਮਾਰ ਛੱੜੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲ ਕਮਾ ਕੇ ਊਹ ਪਸਚਾਤਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The love of Maya has displaced all their understanding; making mistakes, they live in regret. ||2||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਲੈ; ਤਾ ਤਤੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
satigur milai; taa tat paae |
ਜੇਕਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਂਟ ਲਵੇ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਅਸਲੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
But if they should meet the True Guru, then they obtain the essence of reality;
ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ; ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਏ ॥
har kaa naam; man vasaae |
ਅਤੇ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
the Name of the Lord comes to dwell in their minds.
