ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਲਦੀ ਫਿਰੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ; ਬਿਨੁ ਪਿਰ. ਬਹੁ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੨॥
anadin jaladee firai din raatee; bin pir. bahu dukh paavaniaa |2|
ਰੈਣ ਦਿਨ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਜਲਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਘਣੀ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਉਠਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Night and day, day and night, they burn. Without her Husband Lord, the soul-bride suffers in terrible pain. ||2||
ਦੇਹੀ ਜਾਤਿ; ਨ ਆਗੈ ਜਾਏ ॥
dehee jaat; na aagai jaae |
ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਦੇਹਿ ਤੇ ਜਾਤੀ ਅਗਲੇ ਜਹਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣੀਆਂ।
Her body and her status shall not go with her to the world hereafter.
ਜਿਥੈ ਲੇਖਾ ਮੰਗੀਐ; ਤਿਥੈ ਛੁਟੈ. ਸਚੁ ਕਮਾਏ ॥
jithai lekhaa mangeeai; tithai chhuttai. sach kamaae |
ਜਿਥੇ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਤਲਬ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਬੰਦ-ਖਲਾਸ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Where she is called to answer for her account, there, she shall be emancipated only by true actions.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਨਿ ਸੇ ਧਨਵੰਤੇ; ਐਥੈ ਓਥੈ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੩॥
satigur sevan se dhanavante; aithai othai naam samaavaniaa |3|
ਜੋ ਸੱਚ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਲ ਘਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਅਮੀਰ ਹਨ। ਏਥੇ ਤੇ ਇਥੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who serve the True Guru shall prosper; here and hereafter, they are absorbed in the Naam. ||3||
ਭੈ ਭਾਇ; ਸੀਗਾਰੁ ਬਣਾਏ ॥
bhai bhaae; seegaar banaae |
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਾਰ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
She who adorns herself with the Love and the Fear of God,
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ; ਮਹਲੁ ਘਰੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
gur parasaadee; mehal ghar paae |
ਉਹ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੇ ਸਦਕਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਊਸ ਦੀ ਹਜੂਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
by Guru's Grace, obtains the Mansion of the Lord's Presence as her home.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਦਾ ਰਵੈ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ; ਮਜੀਠੈ ਰੰਗੁ ਬਣਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੪॥
anadin sadaa ravai din raatee; majeetthai rang banaavaniaa |4|
ਸਦੀਵ ਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈਂ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਜੀਠ ਦੀ ਪੱਕੀ ਰੰਗਤ ਅਖਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Night and day, day and night, she constantly ravishes and enjoys her Beloved. She is dyed in the permanent color of His Love. ||4||
ਸਭਨਾ ਪਿਰੁ ਵਸੈ; ਸਦਾ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
sabhanaa pir vasai; sadaa naale |
ਖਮਸ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਥ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Husband Lord abides with everyone, always;
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ; ਕੋ ਨਦਰਿ ਨਿਹਾਲੇ ॥
gur parasaadee; ko nadar nihaale |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
but how rare are those few who, by Guru's Grace, obtain His Glance of Grace.
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਤਿ ਊਚੋ ਊਚਾ; ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੫॥
meraa prabh at aoocho aoochaa; kar kirapaa aap milaavaniaa |5|
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਬੁਲੰਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਹੈ। ਅਪਣੀ ਦਇਆ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
My God is the Highest of the High; granting His Grace, He merges us into Himself. ||5||
ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹਿ; ਇਹੁ ਜਗੁ ਸੁਤਾ ॥
maaeaa mohi; ihu jag sutaa |
ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਗਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਜਹਾਨ ਸੁੱਤਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ।
This world is asleep in emotional attachment to Maya.
ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ; ਅੰਤਿ ਵਿਗੁਤਾ ॥
naam visaar; ant vigutaa |
ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਰਕਾਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Forgetting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, it ultimately comes to ruin.
ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਸੁਤਾ. ਸੋ ਜਾਗਾਏ; ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੬॥
jis te sutaa. so jaagaae; guramat sojhee paavaniaa |6|
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਏਗਾ। ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
The One who put it to sleep shall also awaken it. Through the Guru's Teachings, understanding dawns. ||6||
ਅਪਿਉ ਪੀਐ; ਸੋ ਭਰਮੁ ਗਵਾਏ ॥
apiau peeai; so bharam gavaae |
ਜੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
One who drinks in this Nectar, shall have his delusions dispelled.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ; ਮੁਕਤਿ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਏ ॥
gur parasaad; mukat gat paae |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਊਹ ਮੋਖਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪਦਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
By Guru's Grace, the state of liberation is attained.
ਭਗਤੀ ਰਤਾ ਸਦਾ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ; ਆਪੁ ਮਾਰਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥
bhagatee rataa sadaa bairaagee; aap maar milaavaniaa |7|
ਜੋ ਸਾਈਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸ਼ਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀਜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦੀਵ ਹੀ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਿਰਤ ਕਰਕ ਕੇ ਊਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
One who is imbued with devotion to the Lord, remains always balanced and detached. Subduing selfishness and conceit, he is united with the Lord. ||7||
ਆਪਿ ਉਪਾਏ; ਧੰਧੈ ਲਾਏ ॥
aap upaae; dhandhai laae |
ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਜੀਵ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਤੇ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮੀ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
He Himself creates, and He Himself assigns us to our tasks.
ਲਖ ਚਉਰਾਸੀ; ਰਿਜਕੁ ਆਪਿ ਅਪੜਾਏ ॥
lakh chauraasee; rijak aap aparraae |
ਚੁਰਾਸੀ ਲੱਖ ਜੂਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਰੋਜੀ ਪੁਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
He Himself gives sustenance to the 8.4 million species of beings.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇ ਸਚਿ ਰਾਤੇ; ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ. ਸੁ ਕਾਰ ਕਰਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੮॥੪॥੫॥
naanak. naam dhiaae sach raate; jo tis bhaavai. su kaar karaavaniaa |8|4|5|
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੋ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, those who meditate on the Naam are atuned to Truth. They do that which is pleasing to His Will. ||8||4||5||
ਮਾਝ ਮਹਲਾ ੩ ॥

ਮਾਝ, ਤੀਜੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ।
Maajh, Third Mehl:
ਅੰਦਰਿ; ਹੀਰਾ ਲਾਲੁ ਬਣਾਇਆ ॥
andar; heeraa laal banaaeaa |
ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਜਵੇਹਰ ਤੇ ਮਾਣਕ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Diamonds and rubies are produced deep within the self.
ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ; ਪਰਖਿ ਪਰਖਾਇਆ ॥
gur kai sabad; parakh parakhaaeaa |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਤੇ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
They are assayed and valued through the Word of the Guru's Shabad.
ਜਿਨ ਸਚੁ ਪਲੈ. ਸਚੁ ਵਖਾਣਹਿ; ਸਚੁ ਕਸਵਟੀ ਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥
jin sach palai. sach vakhaaneh; sach kasavattee laavaniaa |1|
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਝੋਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਘਸਵੱਟੀ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who have gathered Truth, speak Truth; they apply the Touch-stone of Truth. ||1||
ਹਉ ਵਾਰੀ ਜੀਉ ਵਾਰੀ; ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ. ਮੰਨਿ ਵਸਾਵਣਿਆ ॥
hau vaaree jeeo vaaree; gur kee baanee. man vasaavaniaa |
ਮੈਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਸਦਕੇ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਟਿਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
I am a sacrifice, my soul is a sacrifice, to those who enshrine the Word of the Guru's Bani within their minds.
ਅੰਜਨ ਮਾਹਿ. ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਪਾਇਆ; ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
anjan maeh. niranjan paaeaa; jotee jot milaavaniaa |1| rahaau |
ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੂਰ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨੂਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
In the midst of the darkness of the world, they obtain the Immaculate One, and their light merges into the Light. ||1||Pause||
ਇਸੁ ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ; ਬਹੁਤੁ ਪਸਾਰਾ ॥
eis kaaeaa andar; bahut pasaaraa |
ਏਸ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਦੇਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਯ ਹਨ।
Within this body are countless vast vistas;
ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ; ਅਤਿ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
naam niranjan; at agam apaaraa |
ਇਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੇ ਅਨੰਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ।
the Immaculate Naam is totally Inaccessible and Infinite.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ. ਸੋਈ ਪਾਏ; ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੨॥
guramukh hovai. soee paae; aape bakhas milaavaniaa |2|
ਕੇਵਲ ਓਹੀ, ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਾਫੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
He alone becomes Gurmukh and obtains it, whom the Lord forgives, and unites with Himself. ||2||
ਮੇਰਾ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ; ਸਚੁ ਦਿ੍ਰੜਾਏ ॥
meraa tthaakur; sach drirraae |
ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਠਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
My Lord and Master implants the Truth.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ; ਸਚਿ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ॥
gur parasaadee; sach chit laae |
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਸਦਕਾ, ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਸੱਚ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ।
By Guru's Grace, one's consciousness is attached to the Truth.
ਸਚੋ ਸਚੁ ਵਰਤੈ ਸਭਨੀ ਥਾਈ; ਸਚੇ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੩॥
sacho sach varatai sabhanee thaaee; sache sach samaavaniaa |3|
ਸਬੱਚਿਆਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਸੱਚਿਆਰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ। ਸੱਚੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The Truest of the True is pervading everywhere; the true ones merge in Truth. ||3||
ਵੇਪਰਵਾਹੁ ਸਚੁ; ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥
veparavaahu sach; meraa piaaraa |
ਸੱਚਾ ਮਾਲਕ, ਮੇਰਾ ਮੁਛੰਦਗੀ-ਰਹਿਤ ਪਰੀਤਮ ਹੈ।
The True Carefree Lord is my Beloved.
ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਅਵਗਣ; ਕਾਟਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
kilavikh avagan; kaattanahaaraa |
ਉਹ ਗੁਨਾਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੰਦ-ਅਮਲ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
He cuts out our sinful mistakes and evil actions;
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਈਐ; ਭੈ ਭਾਇ ਭਗਤਿ ਦਿ੍ਰੜਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੪॥
prem preet sadaa dhiaaeeai; bhai bhaae bhagat drirraavaniaa |4|
ਪਿਆਰ ਤੇ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਨਾਲ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਸਾਈਂ ਦਾ ਅਰਾਧਨ ਕਰ। ਆਪਣਾ ਡਰ ਤੇ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੱਕੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
with love and affection, meditate forever on Him. He implants the Fear of God and loving devotional worship within us. ||4||
ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਸਚੀ; ਜੇ ਸਚੇ ਭਾਵੈ ॥
teree bhagat sachee; je sache bhaavai |
ਸੱਚੀ ਹੈ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ! ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਸਤਿਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਲੱਗੇ।
Devotional worship is True, if it pleases the True Lord.
ਆਪੇ ਦੇਇ; ਨ ਪਛੋਤਾਵੈ ॥
aape dee; na pachhotaavai |
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਆਪ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਪਸਚਾਤਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।
He Himself bestows it; He does not regret it later.
ਸਭਨਾ ਜੀਆ ਕਾ ਏਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ; ਸਬਦੇ ਮਾਰਿ ਜੀਵਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੫॥
sabhanaa jeea kaa eko daataa; sabade maar jeevaavaniaa |5|
ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੀ ਦਾਤਾਰ ਹੈ। ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਈਸ਼ਵਰੀ ਬਚਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
He alone is the Giver of all beings. The Lord kills with the Word of His Shabad, and then revives. ||5||
ਹਰਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਬਾਝਹੁ; ਮੈ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
har tudh baajhahu; mai koee naahee |
ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਹੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਮੇਰਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ।
Other than You, Lord, nothing is mine.
ਹਰਿ ਤੁਧੈ ਸੇਵੀ, ਤੈ ਤੁਧੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ॥
har tudhai sevee, tai tudh saalaahee |
ਮੇਰੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਮੈਂ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
I serve You, Lord, and I praise You.
ਆਪੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਲੈਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਾਚੇ; ਪੂਰੈ ਕਰਮਿ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੬॥
aape mel laihu prabh saache; poorai karam toon paavaniaa |6|
ਆਪ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਲੈ, ਹੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ! ਪੂਰਨ ਨਸੀਬਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
You unite me with Yourself, O True God. Through perfect good karma You are obtained. ||6||
ਮੈ. ਹੋਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ; ਤੁਧੈ ਜੇਹਾ ॥
mai. hor na koee; tudhai jehaa |
ਮੇਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਰਸ ਕੋਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
For me, there is no other like You.
ਤੇਰੀ ਨਦਰੀ; ਸੀਝਸਿ ਦੇਹਾ ॥
teree nadaree; seejhas dehaa |
ਤੇਰੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਜਿਸਮ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
By Your Glance of Grace, my body is blessed and sanctified.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਸਾਰਿ ਸਮਾਲਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਹਿ; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥
anadin saar samaal har raakheh; guramukh sehaj samaavaniaa |7|
ਰਾਤ੍ਰੀ ਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਡੀ ਨਿਗਾਹਬਾਨੀ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
Night and day, the Lord takes care of us and protects us. The Gurmukhs are absorbed in intuitive peace and poise. ||7||
ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ; ਮੈ ਹੋਰੁ. ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
tudh jevadd; mai hor. na koee |
ਤੇਰੇ ਜਿੱਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਸਦਾ।
For me, there is no other as Great as You.
ਤੁਧੁ ਆਪੇ ਸਿਰਜੀ; ਆਪੇ ਗੋਈ ॥
tudh aape sirajee; aape goee |
ਤੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਸਾਜੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਹਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ।
You Yourself create, and You Yourself destroy.
