ਓਨੀ ਚਲਣੁ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਹਾਲਿਆ; ਹਰਿ ਖਰਚੁ ਲੀਆ ਪਤਿ ਪਾਇ ॥
onee chalan sadaa nihaaliaa; har kharach leea pat paae |
ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਰ-ਖਰਚ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਇਜ਼ਤ-ਆਬਰੂ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
They keep death constantly before their eyes; they gather the Provisions of the Lord's Name, and receive honor.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ. ਦਰਗਹ ਮੰਨੀਅਹਿ; ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ. ਲਏ ਗਲਿ ਲਾਇ ॥੨॥

ਗੁਰੂ-ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਈਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਲਵੱਕੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Gurmukhs are honored in the Court of the Lord. The Lord Himself takes them in His Loving Embrace. ||2||
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾ ਨੋ ਪੰਥੁ ਪਰਗਟਾ; ਦਰਿ. ਠਾਕ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਇ ॥
guramukhaa no panth paragattaa; dar. tthaak na koee paae |
ਜਗਿਆਸੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਤੱਖ ਹੈ। ਸਾਈਂ ਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਪੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ।
For the Gurmukhs, the Way is obvious. At the Lord's Door, they face no obstructions.
ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹਨਿ. ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ; ਨਾਮਿ ਰਹਨਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
har naam salaahan. naam man; naam rehan liv laae |
ਉਹ ਸਾਈਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
They praise the Lord's Name, they keep the Naam in their minds, and they remain attached to the Love of the Naam.
ਅਨਹਦ ਧੁਨੀ ਦਰਿ ਵਜਦੇ; ਦਰਿ ਸਚੈ. ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਇ ॥੩॥

ਬਿਨ-ਅਲਾਪਿਆਂ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਤੇ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਇਜ਼ਤ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The Unstruck Celestial Music vibrates for them at the Lord's Door, and they are honored at the True Door. ||3||
ਜਿਨੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹਿਆ; ਤਿਨਾ ਸਭ ਕੋ ਕਹੈ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ॥
jinee guramukh naam salaahiaa; tinaa sabh ko kahai saabaas |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਫ਼ਰੀਨ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
Those Gurmukhs who praise the Naam are applauded by everyone.
ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੇਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ; ਮੈ ਜਾਚਿਕ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥
tin kee sangat dehi prabh; mai jaachik kee aradaas |
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮੇਲ-ਮਿਲਾਪ ਬਖਸ਼, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਮੰਗਤਾ ਇਹ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
Grant me their company, God-I am a beggar; this is my prayer.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਭਾਗ ਵਡੇ ਤਿਨਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾ; ਜਿਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਗਾਸਿ ॥੪॥੩੩॥੩੧॥੬॥੭੦॥

ਵਡੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਸਮਤ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ-ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, great is the good fortune of those Gurmukhs, who are filled with the Light of the Naam within. ||4||33||31||6||70||

ਕਿਆ ਤੂ ਰਤਾ ਦੇਖਿ ਕੈ; ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਕਲਤ੍ਰ ਸੀਗਾਰ ॥
kiaa too rataa dekh kai; putr kalatr seegaar |
ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਤੇ ਸਜੀ-ਧਜੀ ਹੋਈ ਵਹੁਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਮਸਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ?
Why are you so thrilled by the sight of your son and your beautifully decorated wife?
ਰਸ ਭੋਗਹਿ. ਖੁਸੀਆ ਕਰਹਿ; ਮਾਣਹਿ ਰੰਗ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
ras bhogeh. khuseea kareh; maaneh rang apaar |
ਤੂੰ ਨਿਆਮਤ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਨੰਦ ਲੁਟਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਤ ਸੁਆਦ ਭੋਗਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
You enjoy tasty delicacies, you have lots of fun, and you indulge in endless pleasures.
ਬਹੁਤੁ ਕਰਹਿ ਫੁਰਮਾਇਸੀ; ਵਰਤਹਿ ਹੋਇ ਅਫਾਰ ॥
bahut kareh furamaaeisee; varateh hoe afaar |
ਤੂੰ ਘਨੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਕੜਖਾਂ ਹੋ ਕਾਰ-ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
You give all sorts of commands, and you act so superior.
ਕਰਤਾ. ਚਿਤਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ; ਮਨਮੁਖ ਅੰਧ ਗਵਾਰ ॥੧॥

ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ, ਬੁਧੂ, ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕੂਲ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ।
The Creator does not come into the mind of the blind, idiotic, self-willed manmukh. ||1||
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ; ਸੁਖਦਾਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਇ ॥
mere man; sukhadaataa har soe |
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੜੀ! ਉਹ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
O my mind, the Lord is the Giver of peace.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਪਾਈਐ; ਕਰਮਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਚੰਗੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
By Guru's Grace, He is found. By His Mercy, He is obtained. ||1||Pause||
ਕਪੜਿ ਭੋਗਿ ਲਪਟਾਇਆ; ਸੁਇਨਾ ਰੁਪਾ ਖਾਕੁ ॥
kaparr bhog lapattaaeaa; sueinaa rupaa khaak |
ਆਦਮੀ ਬਸਤਰ ਤੇ ਭੋਜਨਾ ਦੇ ਰਸਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਲਝਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕੇਵਲ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਹੀ ਹਨ।
People are entangled in the enjoyment of fine clothes, but gold and silver are only dust.
ਹੈਵਰ ਗੈਵਰ ਬਹੁ ਰੰਗੇ; ਕੀਏ ਰਥ ਅਥਾਕ ॥
haivar gaivar bahu range; kee rath athaak |
ਉਸ ਕੋਲਿ ਘਲੇਰੀਆਂ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਨਾਂ-ਥੱਕਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
They acquire beautiful horses and elephants, and ornate carriages of many kinds.
ਕਿਸ ਹੀ ਚਿਤਿ. ਨ ਪਾਵਹੀ; ਬਿਸਰਿਆ ਸਭ ਸਾਕ ॥

ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਅੰਗਾਂ-ਸਾਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
They think of nothing else, and they forget all their relatives.
ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ; ਵਿਣੁ ਨਾਵੈ. ਨਾਪਾਕ ॥੨॥
sirajanahaar bhulaaeaa; vin naavai. naapaak |2|
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਛਡਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਉਹ ਅਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ।
They ignore their Creator; without the Name, they are impure. ||2||
ਲੈਦਾ ਬਦ ਦੁਆਇ ਤੂੰ; ਮਾਇਆ ਕਰਹਿ ਇਕਤ ॥
laidaa bad duaae toon; maaeaa kareh ikat |
ਤੂੰ ਦੁਰਸੀਸਾਂ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੌਲਤ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
Gathering the wealth of Maya, you earn an evil reputation.
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਤੂੰ ਪਤੀਆਇਦਾ; ਸੋ ਸਣੁ ਤੁਝੈ ਅਨਿਤ ॥
jis no toon pateeaeidaa; so san tujhai anit |
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਣੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਸਵੰਤ ਹੈ।
Those whom you work to please shall pass away along with you.
ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ਕਰਹਿ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀਆ; ਵਿਆਪਿਆ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਮਤਿ ॥
ahankaar kareh ahankaareea; viaapiaa man kee mat |
ਹੇ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਬੰਦੇ! ਤੂੰ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨੁੲੈ ਦੀ ਅਕਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਲਤਾਨ ਹੈ।
The egotistical are engrossed in egotism, ensnared by the intellect of the mind.
ਤਿਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪਿ ਭੁਲਾਇਆ; ਨਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਾਤਿ. ਨ ਪਤਿ ॥੩॥
tin prabh aap bhulaaeaa; naa tis jaat. na pat |3|
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਗਲਤ ਰਸਤੇ ਪਾਹਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਤੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ।
One who is deceived by God Himself, has no position and no honor. ||3||
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪੁਰਖਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ; ਇਕੋ ਸਜਣੁ ਸੋਇ ॥
satigur purakh milaaeaa; iko sajan soe |
ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੀ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਦੁੱਤੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
The True Guru, the Primal Being, has led me to meet the One, my only Friend.
ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਏਕੁ ਹੈ; ਕਿਆ ਮਾਣਸ ਹਉਮੈ ਰੋਇ ॥
har jan kaa raakhaa ek hai; kiaa maanas haumai roe |
ਇਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੋਲੇ ਦਾ ਰਖਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ?
The One is the Saving Grace of His humble servant. Why should the proud cry out in ego?
ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਭਾਵੈ. ਸੋ ਕਰੇ; ਦਰਿ. ਫੇਰੁ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਕੋਇ ॥
jo har jan bhaavai. so kare; dar. fer na paavai koe |
ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਧੂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਭੀ ਰੱਬ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਅਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ।
As the servant of the Lord wills, so does the Lord act. At the Lord's Door, none of his requests are denied.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਰਤਾ ਰੰਗਿ ਹਰਿ; ਸਭ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਚਾਨਣੁ ਹੋਇ ॥੪॥੧॥੭੧॥

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਸਮੂਹ ਆਲਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਵਿਰਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾਨਕ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Nanak is attuned to the Love of the Lord, whose Light pervades the entire Universe. ||4||1||71||

ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਦਿਲ-ਬਹਿਲਾਵਿਆਂ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਮਾਨਣ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਸਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਭੁਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
With the mind caught up in playful pleasures, involved in all sorts of amusements and sights that stagger the eyes, people are led astray.
ਛਤ੍ਰਧਾਰ ਬਾਦਿਸਾਹੀਆ; ਵਿਚਿ ਸਹਸੇ ਪਰੀਆ ॥੧॥
chhatradhaar baadisaaheea; vich sahase pareea |1|
ਛੱਤਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਵੀ iਫ਼ਕਰ-ਚਿੰਤਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਗ੍ਰਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
The emperors sitting on their thrones are consumed by anxiety. ||1||
ਭਾਈ ਰੇ; ਸੁਖੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
bhaaee re; sukh saadhasang paaeaa |
ਹੇ ਵੀਰ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਸੰਗਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਰਾਮ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
O Siblings of Destiny, peace is found in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਲਿਖਿਆ ਲੇਖੁ. ਤਿਨਿ ਪੁਰਖਿ ਬਿਧਾਤੈ; ਦੁਖੁ ਸਹਸਾ ਮਿਟਿ ਗਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਕਿਸਮਤ ਦੇ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਉਸ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੇ ਐਸੀ ਲਿਖਤਾਕਾਰ ਲਿਖ ਦਿਤੀ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਤੇ iਫ਼ਕਰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਰਫ਼ਾ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
If the Supreme Lord, the Architect of Destiny, writes such an order, then anguish and anxiety are erased. ||1||Pause||
ਜੇਤੇ ਥਾਨ ਥਨੰਤਰਾ; ਤੇਤੇ ਭਵਿ ਆਇਆ ॥
jete thaan thanantaraa; tete bhav aaeaa |
ਮੈਂ ਐਨੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੱਕਰ ਕੱਟ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਕੁ ਹਨ।
There are so many places-I have wandered through them all.
ਧਨ ਪਾਤੀ ਵਡ ਭੂਮੀਆ; ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਰਿ ਪਰਿਆ ॥੨॥
dhan paatee vadd bhoomeea; meree meree kar pariaa |2|
ਦੌਲਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਤੇ ਭਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਮੀਦਾਰ ਇਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਹੈ ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਢਹਿ ਪਏ (ਬਿਨਸ ਗਏ) ਹਨ।
The masters of wealth and the great land-lords have fallen, crying out, "This is mine! This is mine!" ||2||
ਹੁਕਮੁ ਚਲਾਏ. ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋਇ; ਵਰਤੈ ਅਫਰਿਆ ॥
hukam chalaae. nisang hoe; varatai afariaa |
ਉਹ ਨਿਧੜਕ ਹੋ ਫੁਰਮਾਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਕਾਰ-ਵਿਹਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
They issue their commands fearlessly, and act in pride.
ਸਭੁ ਕੋ ਵਸਗਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਲਇਓਨੁ; ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ. ਖਾਕੁ ਰਲਿਆ ॥੩॥
sabh ko vasagat kar leon; bin naavai. khaak raliaa |3|
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਸਾਈਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਬਗੈਰ ਉਹ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
They subdue all under their command, but without the Name, they are reduced to dust. ||3||
ਕੋਟਿ ਤੇਤੀਸ ਸੇਵਕਾ; ਸਿਧ ਸਾਧਿਕ ਦਰਿ ਖਰਿਆ ॥
kott tetees sevakaa; sidh saadhik dar khariaa |
ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਉਤੇ ਤੇਤੀ ਕ੍ਰੋੜ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਭਿਆਸੀ ਨੌਕਰ ਵਜੋ ਖੜੇ ਸਨ,
Even those who are served by the 33 million angelic beings, at whose door the Siddhas and the Saadhus stand,
ਗਿਰੰਬਾਰੀ ਵਡ ਸਾਹਬੀ; ਸਭੁ ਨਾਨਕ. ਸੁਪਨੁ ਥੀਆ ॥੪॥੨॥੭੨॥
giranbaaree vadd saahabee; sabh naanak. supan theea |4|2|72|
ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਭਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਹੈ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਨਿਰਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
who live in wondrous affluence and rule over mountains, oceans and vast dominions-O Nanak, in the end, all this vanishes like a dream! ||4||2||72||
