ਤਿਸੁ ਰੂਪੁ ਨ ਰੇਖਿਆ. ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਦੇਖਿਆ; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ. ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਉਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਰੂਪ ਜਾਂ ਚੱਕਰ-ਚਿਨ੍ਹ ਨਹੀਂ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭੇਦ-ਰਹਿਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
He has no form or shape; He is seen within each and every heart. The Gurmukh comes to know the unknowable. ||1||Pause||
ਤੂ ਦਇਆਲੁ; ਕਿਰਪਾਲੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੋਈ ॥
too deaal; kirapaal prabh soee |
ਤੂੰ ਐਸਾ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਤੇ ਮਾਇਆਵਾਨ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ,
You are God, Kind and Merciful.
ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਦੂਜਾ; ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥
tudh bin doojaa; avar na koee |
ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
Without You, there is no other at all.
ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਸਾਦੁ ਕਰੇ. ਨਾਮੁ ਦੇਵੈ; ਨਾਮੇ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੨॥

ਜੇਕਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਹਰ ਧਾਰੇ ਉਹ ਨਾਮ ਬਖਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨਾਮ ਸਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
When the Guru showers His Grace upon us, He blesses us with the Naam; through the Naam, we merge in the Naam. ||2||
ਤੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਸਚਾ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰਾ ॥
toon aape sachaa sirajanahaaraa |
ਤੂੰ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਸੱਚਾ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਹੈ।
You Yourself are the True Creator Lord.
ਭਗਤੀ ਭਰੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾ ॥
bhagatee bhare tere bhanddaaraa |
ਤੇਰੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਈਸ਼ਵਰੀ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਨਾਲ ਪਰੀਪੂਰਨ ਹਨ।
Your treasures are overflowing with devotional worship.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਮਨੁ ਭੀਜੈ; ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਲਗਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੩॥
guramukh naam milai man bheejai; sehaj samaadh lagaavaniaa |3|
ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ-ਸਮਰਪਣ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਪਰਮ-ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੁਖੈਨ ਹੀ ਅਫੁਰ ਇਕਾਗਰਤਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Gurmukhs obtain the Naam. Their minds are enraptured, and they easily and intuitively enter into Samaadhi. ||3||
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇਰੇ ॥
anadin gun gaavaa prabh tere |
ਰੈਣ ਦਿਹੁੰ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ!
Night and day, I sing Your Glorious Praises, God.
ਤੁਧੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
tudh saalaahee preetam mere |
ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲਬਰ।
I praise You, O my Beloved.
ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ. ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਚਾ; ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੪॥
tudh bin. avar na koee jaachaa; gur parasaadee toon paavaniaa |4|
ਤੇਰੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਦਾ। ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Without You, there is no other for me to seek out. It is only by Guru's Grace that You are found. ||4||
ਅਗਮੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ; ਮਿਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਈ ॥
agam agochar; mit nahee paaee |
ਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹੇ ਤੇ ਸਮਝ ਸੋਚ ਤੋਂ ਉਚੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
The limits of the Inaccessible and Incomprehensible Lord cannot be found.
ਅਪਣੀ ਕਿ੍ਰਪਾ ਕਰਹਿ; ਤੂੰ ਲੈਹਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥
apanee kripaa kareh; toon laihi milaaee |
ਆਪਣੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Bestowing Your Mercy, You merge us into Yourself.
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਧਿਆਈਐ; ਸਬਦੁ ਸੇਵਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੫॥
poore gur kai sabad dhiaaeeai; sabad sev sukh paavaniaa |5|
ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਘਾਲ ਘਾਲਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਰਾਮ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Through the Shabad, the Word of the Perfect Guru, we meditate on the Lord. Serving the Shabad, peace is found. ||5||
ਰਸਨਾ ਗੁਣਵੰਤੀ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
rasanaa gunavantee gun gaavai |
ਗੁਣਵਾਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜਿਹਬਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਡਿਆਈਆਂ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Praiseworthy is the tongue which sings the Lord's Glorious Praises.
ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹੇ; ਸਚੇ ਭਾਵੈ ॥
naam salaahe; sache bhaavai |
ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੀਵ ਸੱਚੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Praising the Naam, one becomes pleasing to the True One.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਦਾ ਰਹੈ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੀ; ਮਿਲਿ ਸਚੇ ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੬॥
guramukh sadaa rahai rang raatee; mil sache sobhaa paavaniaa |6|
ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਦੀਵ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
The Gurmukh remains forever imbued with the Lord's Love. Meeting the True Lord, glory is obtained. ||6||
ਮਨਮੁਖੁ ਕਰਮ ਕਰੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ॥
manamukh karam kare ahankaaree |
ਮਨ-ਮਤੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The self-willed manmukhs do their deeds in ego.
ਜੂਐ ਜਨਮੁ; ਸਭ ਬਾਜੀ ਹਾਰੀ ॥
jooai janam; sabh baajee haaree |
ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੂਏ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
They lose their whole lives in the gamble.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲੋਭੁ ਮਹਾ ਗੁਬਾਰਾ; ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥
antar lobh mahaa gubaaraa; fir fir aavan jaavaniaa |7|
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਾਲਚ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਤੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Within is the terrible darkness of greed, and so they come and go in reincarnation, over and over again. ||7||
ਆਪੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
aape karataa de vaddiaaee |
ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਤਾ ਬਖਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ,
The Creator Himself bestows Glory
ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਆਪਿ; ਲਿਖਤੁ ਧੁਰਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
jin kau aap; likhat dhur paaee |
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਮੁਢ ਤੋਂ ਐਸਾ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
On those whom He Himself has so pre-destined.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਭਉ ਭੰਜਨੁ; ਗੁਰਸਬਦੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੮॥੧॥੩੪॥
naanak. naam milai bhau bhanjan; gurasabadee sukh paavaniaa |8|1|34|
ਨਾਨਕ, ਜੋ ਡਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨਹਾਰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਤਾਬੇ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਆਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
O Nanak, they receive the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the Destroyer of fear; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, they find peace. ||8||1||34||

Maajh, Fifth Mehl, First House:
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਅਲਖੁ; ਨ ਜਾਈ ਲਖਿਆ ॥
antar alakh; na jaaee lakhiaa |
ਹਿਰਦੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
The Unseen Lord is within, but He cannot be seen.
ਨਾਮੁ ਰਤਨੁ; ਲੈ ਗੁਝਾ ਰਖਿਆ ॥
naam ratan; lai gujhaa rakhiaa |
ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਹੀਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੁਕਾ ਕੇ ਰਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
He has taken the Jewel of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and He keeps it well concealed.
ਅਗਮੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ. ਸਭ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ; ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਖਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥
agam agochar. sabh te aoochaa; gur kai sabad lakhaavaniaa |1|
ਪਹੁੰਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝ ਸੋਚ ਤੋਂ ਉਚੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Inaccessible and Incomprehensible Lord is the highest of all. Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, He is known. ||1||
ਹਉ ਵਾਰੀ ਜੀਉ ਵਾਰੀ; ਕਲਿ ਮਹਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੁਣਾਵਣਿਆ ॥
hau vaaree jeeo vaaree; kal meh naam sunaavaniaa |
ਮੈਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੜੀ ਸਦਕੇ ਹੈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਕਲਜੁਗ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
I am a sacrifice, my soul is a sacrifice, to those who chant the Naam, in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga.
ਸੰਤ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਚੈ ਧਾਰੇ; ਵਡਭਾਗੀ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sant piaare sachai dhaare; vaddabhaagee darasan paavaniaa |1| rahaau |
ਲਾਡਲੇ ਸਾਧੂ, ਸਤਿਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਅਸਥਾਪਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਭਾਰੇ ਭਲੇ ਨਸੀਬਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
The Beloved Saints were established by the True Lord. By great good fortune, the Blessed Vision of their Darshan is obtained. ||1||Pause||
ਸਾਧਿਕ ਸਿਧ; ਜਿਸੈ ਕਉ ਫਿਰਦੇ ॥
saadhik sidh; jisai kau firade |
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਤੇ ਅਭਿਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲੱਭਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
The One who is sought by the Siddhas and the seekers,
ਬ੍ਰਹਮੇ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਧਿਆਇਨਿ ਹਿਰਦੇ ॥
brahame indr dhiaaein hirade |
ਤੇ ਉਤਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਤੇ ਬਾਰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
upon whom Brahma and Indra meditate within their hearts,
ਕੋਟਿ ਤੇਤੀਸਾ ਖੋਜਹਿ ਤਾ ਕਉ; ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ. ਹਿਰਦੈ ਗਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੨॥
kott teteesaa khojeh taa kau; gur mil. hiradai gaavaniaa |2|
ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਤੀ ਕਰੋੜ ਦੇਵ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਟ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
whom the three hundred thirty million demi-gods search for-meeting the Guru, one comes to sing His Praises within the heart. ||2||
ਆਠ ਪਹਰ; ਤੁਧੁ ਜਾਪੇ ਪਵਨਾ ॥
aatth pehar; tudh jaape pavanaa |
ਸਮੂਹ ਰੈਣ ਦਿਹੁੰ ਹਵਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਅਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Twenty-four hours a day, the wind breathes Your Name.
ਧਰਤੀ ਸੇਵਕ; ਪਾਇਕ ਚਰਨਾ ॥
dharatee sevak; paaeik charanaa |
ਜਮੀਨ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਾਸੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੋਲੀ।
The earth is Your servant, a slave at Your Feet.
ਖਾਣੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਰਬ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ; ਸਭਨਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੩॥
khaanee baanee sarab nivaasee; sabhanaa kai man bhaavaniaa |3|
ਉਤਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਸੋਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੋਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸਾਈਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the four sources of creation, and in all speech, You dwell. You are dear to the minds of all. ||3||
ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਪੈ ॥
saachaa saahib; guramukh jaapai |
ਸੱਚਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
The True Lord and Master is known to the Gurmukhs.
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਿਞਾਪੈ ॥
poore gur kai sabad siyaapai |
ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਜਰੀਏ ਪਛਾਣੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
He is realized through the Shabad, the Word of the Perfect Guru.
ਜਿਨ ਪੀਆ ਸੇਈ ਤਿ੍ਰਪਤਾਸੇ; ਸਚੇ ਸਚਿ ਅਘਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੪॥
jin peea seee tripataase; sache sach aghaavaniaa |4|
ਜੋ ਸਾਈਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਚਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮ ਸਚਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਧਰਾਪ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Those who drink it in are satisfied. Through the Truest of the True, they are fulfilled. ||4||
ਤਿਸੁ ਘਰਿ ਸਹਜਾ; ਸੋਈ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ॥
tis ghar sahajaa; soee suhelaa |
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਅੰਦਰ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ-ਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਸੁਖੀ ਹੈ।
In the home of their own beings, they are peacefully and comfortably at ease.
ਅਨਦ ਬਿਨੋਦ ਕਰੇ ਸਦ ਕੇਲਾ ॥
anad binod kare sad kelaa |
ਉਹ ਮੌਜਾਂ ਲੁਟਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਦੀਵ ਹੀ ਰੰਗ-ਰਲੀਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
They are blissful, enjoying pleasures, and eternally joyful.
ਸੋ ਧਨਵੰਤਾ ਸੋ ਵਡ ਸਾਹਾ; ਜੋ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੫॥
so dhanavantaa so vadd saahaa; jo gur charanee man laavaniaa |5|
ਉਹ ਦੌਲਤਮੰਦ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਪਰਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ।
They are wealthy, and the greatest kings; they center their minds on the Guru's Feet. ||5||
ਪਹਿਲੋ ਦੇ; ਤੈਂ ਰਿਜਕੁ ਸਮਾਹਾ ॥
pahilo de; tain rijak samaahaa |
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੇ ਤੂੰ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ ਪੁਚਾਈ।
First, You created nourishment;
ਪਿਛੋ ਦੇ; ਤੈਂ ਜੰਤੁ ਉਪਾਹਾ ॥
pichho de; tain jant upaahaa |
ਮਗਰੋਂ ਤੈ ਜੀਵ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੇ।
then, You created the living beings.
ਤੁਧੁ ਜੇਵਡੁ ਦਾਤਾ. ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ; ਲਵੈ ਨ ਕੋਈ ਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੬॥
tudh jevadd daataa. avar na suaamee; lavai na koee laavaniaa |6|
ਤੇਰੇ ਜਿੱਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਦਾਤਾਰ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ! ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਦਾ।
There is no other Giver as Great as You, O my Lord and Master. None approach or equal You. ||6||
ਜਿਸੁ ਤੂੰ ਤੁਠਾ; ਸੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥
jis toon tutthaa; so tudh dhiaae |
ਜਿਸ ਉਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!
Those who are pleasing to You meditate on You.
ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਕਾ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਕਮਾਏ ॥
saadh janaa kaa mantru kamaae |
ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਅਮਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
They practice the Mantra of the Holy.
ਆਪਿ ਤਰੈ ਸਗਲੇ ਕੁਲ ਤਾਰੇ; ਤਿਸੁ. ਦਰਗਹ ਠਾਕ, ਨ ਪਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥
aap tarai sagale kul taare; tis. daragah tthaak, na paavaniaa |7|
ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਵੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਈਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਰੋਕ ਟੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ।
They themselves swim across, and they save all their ancestors and families as well. In the Court of the Lord, they meet with no obstruction. ||7||
