ROOALL STANZA. BY THY GRACE

(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਦਾ) ਆਦਿ-ਰੂਪ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਰੂਪ, ਅਯੋਨਿਜ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੈਂ;

Thou art the Supreme Purush, an Eternal Entity in the beginning and free from birth.

ਸਭ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ, ਤਿੰਨ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੰਨਣਯੋਗ, ਅਭੇਦ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਢ-ਕਦੀਮ ਤੋਂ ਉਦਾਰ ਹੈਂ;

Worshipped by all and venerated by three gods, Thou art without difference and art Generous from the very beginning.

ਸਭ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਕ, ਸਭ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਕਾਲ-ਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ;

Thou art the Creator Sustainer, Inspirer and Destroyer of all.

ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਨਿਰਲਿਪਤ ('ਅਵਧੂਤ ਰੂਪ') ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਪਸੀਜਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਿਰਾਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੭੯॥

Thou art present everywhere like an ascetic with a Generous disposition.79.

ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ, ਧਾਮ, ਜਾਤਿ, ਰੂਪ, ਰੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਰੇਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;

Thou art Nameless, Placeless, Casteless, Formless, Colourless and Lineless.

ਜੋ ਆਦਿ ਪੁਰਖ, ਉਦਾਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਅਜੋਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਅਸ਼ੇਸ਼-ਰੂਪ (ਪਰਿਪੂਰਣ) ਹੈ;

Thou, the Primal Purusha, art Unborn, Generous Entity and Perfect from the very beginning.

ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਦੇਸ, ਭੇਸ, ਰੂਪ, ਰੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਗ (ਮੋਹ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;

Thou art Countryless, Garbless, Formless, Lineless and Non-attached.

ਜਿਥੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਵਿਦਿਸ਼ਾ (ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੇ) ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਸਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੮੦॥

Thou art present in all direction and conners and Pervadest the Universe as Love.80.

ਜੋ ਨਾਮ, ਕਾਮਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਦਿਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਘਰ-ਘਾਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;

Thou appearest without name and desire, thou hast no particular Abode.

ਜੋ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ (ਅਸੀਂ) ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਾਂ;

Thou, being worshipped by all, art the Enjoyer of all.

ਉਹ ਇਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਪਰ ਅਨੇਕ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਦਿਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਰੂਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ;

Thou, the One Entity, appearest as Many creating innumerable forms.

ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਖੇਡਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਇਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੧॥

After playing the world-drama, when Thou wilt stop the play, Thou wilt be the same One again.81.

(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਭੇਦ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਵੇਦ ਅਤੇ ਕਤੇਬ (ਸਾਮੀ ਧਰਮ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ) ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ;

The gods and the Scriptures of Hindus and Muslims do not know Thy secret.

(ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਰੂਪ, ਰੰਗ, ਜਾਤਿ-ਪਾਤਿ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ;

How to know Thee when thou art Formless, Colourless, Casteless and without lineage?

ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ, ਮਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਤਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਜਨਮ-ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ;

Thou art without father and mother and art casteless, Thou art without births and deaths.

ਜਿਸ (ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ) ਦਾ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਘੁੰਮਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ('ਬਕ੍ਰ') ਚੱਕਰ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਚੱਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭੌਂਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ) ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੨॥

Thou movest fast like the disc in all the four directions and art worshipped by the three worlds. 82.

ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਚੌਦਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ;

The Name is recited in the fourteen divisions of the universe.

ਜੋ ਆਦਿ ਦੇਵ, ਆਦਿ (ਮੁੱਢ) ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ (ਸਥਾਪਨਾ) ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ;

Thou, the Primal God, art Eternal Entity and hast created the entire universe.

ਜੋ ਪਰਮ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ, ਪਵਿਤਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਤੇ ਅਪਾਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੈ;

Thou, the holiest Entity, art of Supreme Form, Thou art Bondless, Perfect Purusha.

ਜਿਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ (ਸ੍ਵਯੰਭੂ) ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਰਚਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਢਾਹਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੩॥

Thou, the Self-Existent, Creator and Destroyer, hast crated the whole universe.83.

(ਉਸ) ਕਾਲ-ਰਹਿਤ, ਕਲਾ (ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਸਹਿਤ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ;

Thou art Dearthless, Almighty, Timeless Purasha and Countryless.

ਉਹ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਸਰੋਤ, ਭਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਪੰਜ ਤੱਤ੍ਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਆਰਾ, ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਸ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ;

Thou art the Abode of righteousness, Thou art Illusionless, Garbless, Incomprehensible and devoid of five elements.

ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਰੰਗ, ਜਾਤਿ-ਪਾਤਿ ਜਾਂ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ;

Thou art without body, without attachment, without colour, caste, lineage and name.

ਜੋ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਮਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਮੁਕਤੀਦਾਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੪॥

Thou art the Destroyer of ego, the vanquisher of tyrants and performer of works leading to salvation.84.

ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤਿ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਹੈ, ਉਸਤਤ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹੈ, (ਮਾਇਆ ਤੋਂ ਅਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ) ਪਵਿਤਰ ਇਕੋ ਇਕ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹੈ;

Thou art the Deepest and Indescribable Entity, the One unique ascetic Purusha.

ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਦਿ ਰੂਪ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਨਮਾ ਹੈ;

Thou, the Unborn Primal Entity, art the Destroyer of all egocentric people.

ਉਹ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ-ਰਹਿਤ, ਨਾਸ਼ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਰਹਿਤ ਇਕ ਅਪਾਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਹੈ;

Thou, the Boundless Purusha, art Limbless, Indestructible and without self.

ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ, ਸਭ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ ਹੈ ॥੮੫॥

Thou art capable of doing everything, Thou Destroyest all and Sustainest all.85.

ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਾਲਾ ('ਅਨਭੇਖ') ਹੈ;

Thou knowest all, Destroyest all and art beyond all the guises.

ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਰੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਰ ('ਰੇਖ') ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਤਕ ਨਹੀਂ,

Thy form, colour and marks are not known to all the Scriptures.

ਉਸ ਦਾ ਵੇਦ, ਪੁਰਾਣ (ਆਦਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਧਰਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ) ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਅਤੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

The Vedas and the Puransa always declare Thee the Supreme and the Greatest.

ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ, ਪੁਰਾਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਚਿਤਵਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੮੬॥

None can comprehend thee completely through millions of Smritis, Puranas and Shastras.86.
