ਸਿਰੀ ਰਾਗ, ਤੀਜੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ।

Siree Raag, Third Mehl:

ਕਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ-ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਕੀਹਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਤੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਤ ਬਾਰੇ) ਪਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਵਾਂ?

Some enjoy their Husband Lord; unto whose door should I go to ask for Him?

ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਿਆਰ-ਨਾਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਮਾਉਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਦੇਣ।

I serve my True Guru with love, that He may lead me to Union with my Husband Lord.

ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਦੁਰੇਡੇ।

He created all, and He Himself watches over us. Some are close to Him, and some are far away.

ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

She who knows her Husband Lord to be always with her, enjoys His Constant Presence. ||1||

ਹੇ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀਏ! ਤੂੰ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਣੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਟੁਰ।

O woman, you must walk in harmony with the Guru's Will.

ਇੰਜ ਤੂੰ ਰਾਤੀ-ਦਿਹੁੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖੈਨ ਹੀ ਸੱਚੇ ਸਾਈਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

Night and day, you shall enjoy your Husband, and you shall intuitively merge into the True One. ||1||Pause||

ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੁਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਤਵੰਤੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਸੱਚੇ-ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਸ਼ੋਭੋਤ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।

Attuned to the Shabad, the happy soul-brides are adorned with the True Word of the Shabad.

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਕੇ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਪਾ ਲੈਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

Within their own home, they obtain the Lord as their Husband, with love for the Guru.

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਸਤਰੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹਨ, ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲਿ ਸੁਧਾ-ਪਰੇਮ ਦੇ ਪਰੀਪੂਰਨ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਹਨ।

Upon her beautiful and cozy bed, she enjoys the Love of her Lord. She is overflowing with the treasure of devotion.

ਉਹ ਮਹਿਬੂਬ ਮਾਲਕ, ਜੋ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਰਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਰਖਦਾ ਹੈ।

That Beloved God abides in her mind; He gives His Support to all. ||2||

ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੋਂ ਸਦੀਵ ਹੀ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਪਰਸੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

I am forever a sacrifice to those who praise their Husband Lord.

ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨੂਆਂ ਤੇ ਦੇਹਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਸ ਭੀ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀ ਪੈਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

I dedicate my mind and body to them, and give my head as well; I fall at their feet.

ਜੋ ਇਕ ਸਾਈਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਞਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਹੋਰਸੁ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਜ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

Those who recognize the One renounce the love of duality.

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਨਸਾਨ ਸੱਚੇ-ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

The Gurmukh recognizes the Naam, O Nanak, and is absorbed into the True One. ||3||29||62||
