ਸਿਰੀ ਰਾਗ, ਤੀਜੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ।

Siree Raag, Third Mehl:

ਮੇਰੇ ਪੂਜਯ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਚਿਆਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮ ਸਚਿਆਰ ਹੈ। ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੈ।

O Dear Lord, You are the Truest of the True. All things are in Your Power.

ਰੂਹਾਨੀ-ਰਹਿਬਰ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਨ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਚੁਰਾਸੀ-ਲੰਖ ਜੂਨੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਝੂਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

The 8.4 million species of beings wander around searching for You, but without the Guru, they do not find You.

ਜੇਕਰ ਮਾਣਨੀਯ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਖਿਮਾ ਕਰੇ ਤੇ ਮੁਆਫੀ ਦੇਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਦੇਹਿ, ਸਦੀਵ ਹੀ ਆਰਾਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

When the Dear Lord grants His Forgiveness, this human body finds lasting peace.

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚੇ, ਡੂਘੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਥਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

By Guru's Grace, I serve the True One, who is Immeasurably Deep and Profound. ||1||

ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਿੰਦੜੀਏ! ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀਜਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਪਾਵੇਗੀ।

O my mind, attuned to the Naam, you shall find peace.

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਿਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਰ, (ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ) ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

Follow the Guru's Teachings, and praise the Naam; there is no other at all. ||1||Pause||

ਧਰਮ-ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਫੁਰਮਾਨ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਅਸਲੋਂ ਖਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇ।

The Righteous Judge of Dharma, by the Hukam of God's Command, sits and administers True Justice.

ਹੋਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੀਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਰੂਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਰਿਆਇਆ ਹਨ।

Those evil souls, ensnared by the love of duality, are subject to Your Command.

ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟਤਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਰੂਹਾਨੀ ਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਇਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

The souls on their spiritual journey chant and meditate within their minds on the One Lord, the Treasure of Excellence.

ਧਰਮ-ਰਾਜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁਬਹਾਨ ਹੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰਣ ਵਾਲਾ।

The Righteous Judge of Dharma serves them; blessed is the Lord who adorns them. ||2||

ਜੇਕਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਤੇ ਸਵੈ-ਹੰਗਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇ,

One who eliminates mental wickedness from within the mind, and casts out emotional attachment and egotistical pride,

ਤਦ ਉਹ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਞਾਣ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖੈਨ ਹੀ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

comes to recognize the All-pervading Soul, and is intuitively absorbed into the Naam.

ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਅਧਰਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਖਸ਼ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਝੱਲੇ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰਮਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Without the True Guru, the self-willed manmukhs do not find liberation; they wander around like lunatics.

ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਮੂੰਹ-ਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਲਤਾਨ ਹੈ।

They do not contemplate the Shabad; engrossed in corruption, they utter only empty words. ||3||

ਹਰ ਸ਼ੈ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹੋਰ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ।

He Himself is everything; there is no other at all.

ਜਦ ਉਹ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਖੁਦ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

I speak just as He makes me speak, when He Himself makes me speak.

ਮੁੱਖੀ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਲਾਮ ਖੁਦ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੀ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

The Word of the Gurmukh is God Himself. Through the Shabad, we merge in Him.

ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਤੂੰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

O Nanak, remember the Naam; serving Him, peace is obtained. ||4||30||63||
