ਤੂੰ, ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਹਿਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਐਨਾ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਾ ਛਡਿਆ ਹੈ।

You have misled the world so deeply in doubt.

ਇਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਮਝ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਜਦ ਕਿ ਮੋਹਣੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਛਲ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ? ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

How can people understand You, when they are entranced by Maya? ||1||Pause||

ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੰਗ ਰਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਲ-ਮਿਲਾਪ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੂੰ ਯਕੀਨਨ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਏਗਾ।

Says Kabeer, give up the pleasures of corruption, or else you will surely die of them.

ਹੈ ਫਾਨੀ ਬੰਦੇ! ਤੂੰ ਅਨੰਤ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਖਸ਼ਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਜਰੀਏ, ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਬੰਦਗੀ ਕਰ। ਇਸ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

Meditate on the Lord, O mortal being, through the Word of His Bani; you shall be blessed with eternal life. In this way, shall you cross over the terrifying world-ocean. ||2||

ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਹੀ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਪੈਦੀ ਹੈ,

As it pleases Him, people embrace love for the Lord,

ਅਤੇ ਗਲਤ-ਫਹਿਮੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

and doubt and delusion are dispelled from within.

ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਵਲ ਜਾਗ ਪੈਦੀ ਹੈ।

Intuitive peace and poise well up within, and the intellect is awakened to spiritual wisdom.

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਬੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

By Guru's Grace, the inner being is touched by the Lord's Love. ||3||

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਮੇਲ-ਮਿਲਾਪ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੌਤ ਨਹੀਂ।

In this association, there is no death.

ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਞਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਤਦ ਤੂੰ ਕੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਦੂਸਰਾ ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

Recognizing the Hukam of His Command, you shall meet with your Lord and Master. ||1||Second Pause||

ਸਿਰੀ ਰਾਗ, ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ।

Siree Raag, Trilochan:

ਫਾਨੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਧਨ ਦੌਲਤ ਦੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਲਗਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਢੇਪੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਭੁਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

The mind is totally attached to Maya; the mortal has forgotten his fear of old age and death.

ਆਪਣੇ ਟੱਬਰ ਕਬੀਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਕੰਵਲ ਫੁੱਲ ਦੇ ਵਾਂਙੂ ਖਿੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੈ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਬੰਦੇ! ਤੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਦੇ ਝੁਗੇ ਤਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

Gazing upon his family, he blossoms forth like the lotus flower; the deceitful person watches and covets the homes of others. ||1||

ਜਦ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਦੂਤ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ,

When the powerful Messenger of Death comes,

ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ (ਖਿਲਾਫ) ਖੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ।

No one can stand against his awesome power.

ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਹੀ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ,

Rare, very rare, is that friend who comes and says,

ਮੈਡੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਗਲਵਕੜੀ ਪਾ।

"O my Beloved, take me into Your Embrace!

ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੰਦ-ਖਲਾਸ ਕਰ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

O my Lord, please save me!" ||1||Pause||

ਭਿੰਨ ਤੇ ਮੁਖਤਲਿਫ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੋਗ ਬਿਲਾਸਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਰੰਗ-ਰਲੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੂੰ ਹੈ ਫ਼ਾਨੀ ਬੰਦੇ! ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਛਡਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਖਿਆਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Indulging in all sorts of princely pleasures, O mortal, you have forgotten God; you have fallen into the world-ocean, and you think that you have become immortal.

ਮੋਹਨੀ ਦਾ ਠਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਹੇ ਸੁਸਤ ਆਦਮੀ, ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਗੁਆ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Cheated and plundered by Maya, you do not think of God, and you waste your life in laziness. ||2||

ਹੈ ਜੀਵ! ਤੂੰ ਅੋਖੇ ਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਰਸਤੇ ਟੁਰਨਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਥੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇ ਚੰਦ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ।

The path you must walk is treacherous and terrifying, O mortal; neither the sun nor the moon shine there.

ਜਦ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਛਡਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਤਦ ਮੋਹਨੀ ਦੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Your emotional attachment to Maya will be forgotten, when you have to leave this world. ||3||

ਅਜ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਧਰਮ ਰਾਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Today, it became clear to my mind that the Righteous Judge of Dharma is watching us.

ਉਥੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਮ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਦੂਤ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਗੜ ਸੁਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂਹਰੇ ਠਹਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।

His messengers, with their awesome power, crush people between their hands; I cannot stand against them. ||4||

ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਣਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਮਤ ਦੇਵੇ ਤਦ ਇਹ ਦੇਵੇ ਕਿ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਤੇ ਘਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਿੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

If someone is going to teach me something, let it be that the Lord is pervading the forests and fields.

ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, "ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਣਨੀਯ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹਰੀ! ਤੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ।"

O Dear Lord, You Yourself know everything; so prays Trilochan, Lord. ||5||2||

ਸਿਰੀ ਰਾਗ, ਸੰਤ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ।

Siree Raag, Devotee Kabeer Jee:

ਸੁਣ, ਹੇ ਪੰਡਤ! ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।

Listen, O religious scholar: the One Lord alone is Wondrous; no one can describe Him.

ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ, ਮਨੁਖ, ਸਵਰਗੀ ਏਲਚੀ ਤੇ ਗਵੱਵੀਏ, ਫ਼ਰੇਫ਼ਤਾ ਕਰ ਰਖੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਜਹਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਕੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

He fascinates the angels, the celestial singers and the heavenly musicians; he has strung the three worlds upon His Thread. ||1||

ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਵੀਣਾ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਵਜਾਏ ਵੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ,

The Unstruck Melody of the Sovereign Lord's Harp vibrates;

ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਰਾਗ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।

by His Glance of Grace, we are lovingly attuned to the Sound-current of the Naad. ||1||Pause||

ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਸਮਦੁਆਰ ਦੀ ਭੱਠੀ, ਸਮੇਤ ਇਕ ਨਾਲੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਖਿਚਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਨਾਲੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁਟਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਸ਼ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਬਰਤਨ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

The Tenth Gate of my crown chakra is the distilling fire, and the channels of the Ida and Pingala are the funnels, to pour in and empty out the golden vat.

ਉਸ ਬਰਤਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਪਰਮ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਨਾਮ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਟਪਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਜੋਹਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੌਹਰ ਖਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।

Into that vat, there trickles a gentle stream of the most sublime and pure essence of all distilled essences. ||2||

ਇਕ ਬੇ-ਮਿਸਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦਾ ਕਟੋਰਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

Something wonderful has happened-the breath has become the cup.

ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੁਰੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਅਦੁੱਤੀ ਯੋਗੀ ਹੈ (ਜੋ ਐਸੀ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਦਸੋ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?

In all the three worlds, such a Yogi is unique. What king can compare to him? ||3||

ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰਮ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਐਹੋ ਜੇਹੀ ਗਿਆਤ ਨਾਜ਼ਲ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।

This spiritual wisdom of God, the Supreme Soul, has illuminated my being. Says Kabeer, I am attuned to His Love.

ਬਾਕੀ ਦੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਵਹਮਿ ਨੇ ਬਹਿਕਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਪੰਤੂ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਲ ਮਤਵਾਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।

All the rest of the world is deluded by doubt, while my mind is intoxicated with the Sublime Essence of the Lord. ||4||3||
