ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਅਰਪੀ. ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਈ; ਚਲਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਭਾਏ ॥
man tan arapee. aap gavaaee; chalaa satigur bhaae |
ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੇ ਦੇਹਿ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਵੈ-ਹੰਗਤਾ ਤਿਆਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਜਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਟੁਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
I offer my mind and body, and I renounce my selfishness and conceit; I walk in Harmony with the Will of the True Guru.
ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਅਪੁਨੇ ਵਿਟਹੁ; ਜਿ. ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਏ ॥੭॥

ਮੈਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਉਤੋਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
I am forever a sacrifice to my Guru, who has attached my consciousness to the Lord. ||7||
ਸੋ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣੁ. ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਜੋ ਬਿੰਦੇ; ਹਰਿ ਸੇਤੀ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ॥

ਉਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮਣ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
He alone is a Brahmin, who knows the Lord Brahma, and is attuned to the Love of the Lord.
ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਵਸੈ ਸਭਨਾ ਘਟ ਅੰਤਰਿ; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵਿਰਲੈ ਜਾਤਾ ॥

ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਟਾਂਵਾ ਟੱਲਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
God is close at hand; He dwells deep within the hearts of all. How rare are those who, as Gurmukh, know Him.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਨਾਮੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਵਡਿਆਈ; ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਪਛਾਤਾ ॥੮॥੫॥੨੨॥

ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਞਾਣ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
O Nanak, through the Naam, greatness is obtained; through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, He is realized. ||8||5||22||

ਸਹਜੈ ਨੋ ਸਭ ਲੋਚਦੀ; ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ. ਪਾਇਆ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥

ਸਾਰੇ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ।
Everyone longs to be centered and balanced, but without the Guru, no one can.
ਪੜਿ ਪੜਿ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਜੋਤਕੀ ਥਕੇ; ਭੇਖੀ ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇ ॥

ਪੰਡਤ ਤੇ ਜੋਤਸ਼ੀ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹਾਰ ਹੁੱਟ ਗਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਪ੍ਰਦਾਈ ਵਹਿਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ!
The Pandits and the astrologers read and read until they grow weary, while the fanatics are deluded by doubt.
ਗੁਰ ਭੇਟੇ. ਸਹਜੁ ਪਾਇਆ; ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਰਜਾਇ ॥੧॥

ਜੇਕਰ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਹਿਮਤ ਧਾਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਡੋਲ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਪਾਈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Meeting with the Guru, intuitive balance is obtained, when God, in His Will, grants His Grace. ||1||
ਭਾਈ ਰੇ; ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ. ਸਹਜੁ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥
bhaaee re; gur bin. sehaj na hoe |
ਹੇ ਵੀਰ! ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ।
O Siblings of Destiny, without the Guru, intuitive balance is not obtained.
ਸਬਦੈ ਹੀ ਤੇ ਸਹਜੁ ਊਪਜੈ; ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਸਚੁ ਸੋਇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਈਸ਼ਵਰੀ ਕਲਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
Through the Word of the Shabad, intuitive peace and poise wells up, and that True Lord is obtained. ||1||Pause||
ਸਹਜੇ ਗਾਵਿਆ ਥਾਇ ਪਵੈ; ਬਿਨੁ ਸਹਜੈ. ਕਥਨੀ ਬਾਦਿ ॥
sahaje gaaviaa thaae pavai; bin sahajai. kathanee baad |
ਜੋ ਕੁਛ ਰੱਬੀ ਗਿਆਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਾਇਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਕਬੂਲ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਰੱਬੀ ਗਿਆਤ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਆਖਣਾ ਬੇਫਾਇਦਾ ਹੈ।
That which is sung intuitively is acceptable; without this intuition, all chanting is useless.
ਸਹਜੇ ਹੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਊਪਜੈ; ਸਹਜਿ ਪਿਆਰਿ ਬੈਰਾਗਿ ॥
sahaje hee bhagat aoopajai; sehaj piaar bairaag |
ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਤੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਉਪਰਾਮਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
In the state of intuitive balance, devotion wells up. In intuitive balance, love is balanced and detached.
ਸਹਜੈ ਹੀ ਤੇ. ਸੁਖ ਸਾਤਿ ਹੋਇ; ਬਿਨੁ ਸਹਜੈ. ਜੀਵਣੁ ਬਾਦਿ ॥੨॥
sahajai hee te. sukh saat hoe; bin sahajai. jeevan baad |2|
ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਤੇ ਠੰਢ-ਚੈਨ ਰਵਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ-ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਿਸਫਲ ਹੈ।
In the state of intuitive balance, peace and tranquility are produced. Without intuitive balance, life is useless. ||2||
ਸਹਜਿ ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ; ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਧਿ ਲਗਾਇ ॥
sehaj saalaahee sadaa sadaa; sehaj samaadh lagaae |
ਬੈਕੁੰਠੀ ਆਰਾਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੈਂ, ਸਦੀਵ ਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ, ਸਾਈਂ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਬੈਕੁੰਠੀ ਆਰਾਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਮਗਨਤਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
In the state of intuitive balance, praise the Lord forever and ever. With intuitive ease, embrace Samaadhi.
ਸਹਜੇ ਹੀ ਗੁਣ ਊਚਰੈ; ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥
sahaje hee gun aoocharai; bhagat kare liv laae |
ਬੈਕੁੰਠੀ ਆਰਾਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In the state of intuitive balance, chant His Glories, lovingly absorbed in devotional worship.
ਸਬਦੇ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ; ਰਸਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਖਾਇ ॥੩॥
sabade hee har man vasai; rasanaa har ras khaae |3|
ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਟਿਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਭਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨੂੰ ਭੂੰਚਦੀ ਹੈ।
Through the Shabad, the Lord dwells within the mind, and the tongue tastes the Sublime Essence of the Lord. ||3||
ਸਹਜੇ. ਕਾਲੁ ਵਿਡਾਰਿਆ; ਸਚ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਪਾਇ ॥
sahaje. kaal viddaariaa; sach saranaaee paae |
ਸਤਿਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ ਸਰਣਾਗਤ ਲੈਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਮੌਤ ਸੂਖੈਨ ਹੀ ਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
In the poise of intuitive balance, death is destroyed, entering the Sanctuary of the True One.
ਸਹਜੇ. ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ; ਸਚੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਇ ॥

ਜੇਕਰ ਜੀਵ ਸੰਚੀ ਜੀਵਣ ਰਹੁ-ਰੀਤ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਖੈਨ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Intuitively balanced, the Name of the Lord dwells within the mind, practicing the lifestyle of Truth.
ਸੇ ਵਡਭਾਗੀ. ਜਿਨੀ ਪਾਇਆ; ਸਹਜੇ ਰਹੇ ਸਮਾਇ ॥੪॥
se vaddabhaagee. jinee paaeaa; sahaje rahe samaae |4|
ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖੈਨ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who have found Him are very fortunate; they remain intuitively absorbed in Him. ||4||
ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚਿ. ਸਹਜੁ ਨ ਊਪਜੈ; ਮਾਇਆ ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ ॥

ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਟਿਕਾਓ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਦਵੈਤ-ਭਾਵ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Within Maya, the poise of intuitive balance is not produced. Maya leads to the love of duality.
ਮਨਮੁਖ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਣੇ; ਹਉਮੈ ਜਲੈ ਜਲਾਇ ॥
manamukh karam kamaavane; haumai jalai jalaae |
ਆਪ ਹੁਦਰੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਧਾਰਮਕ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਸਵੈ-ਹੰਗਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਸੁੱਟਦੀ ਹੈ।
The self-willed manmukhs perform religious rituals, but they are burnt down by their selfishness and conceit.
ਜੰਮਣੁ ਮਰਣੁ. ਨ ਚੂਕਈ; ਫਿਰਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਵੈ ਜਾਇ ॥੫॥
jaman maran. na chookee; fir fir aavai jaae |5|
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੰਮਣਾ ਤੇ ਮਰਣਾ ਮੁਕਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Their births and deaths do not cease; over and over again, they come and go in reincarnation. ||5||
ਤਿ੍ਰਹੁ ਗੁਣਾ ਵਿਚਿ. ਸਹਜੁ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ; ਤ੍ਰੈ ਗੁਣ. ਭਰਮਿ ਭੁਲਾਇ ॥
trihu gunaa vich. sehaj na paaeeai; trai gun. bharam bhulaae |
ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਸੁਭਾਵਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਟਿਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਤਿੰਨੇ ਹਾਲਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਹਿਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
In the three qualities, intuitive balance is not obtained; the three qualities lead to delusion and doubt.
ਪੜੀਐ ਗੁਣੀਐ ਕਿਆ ਕਥੀਐ; ਜਾ ਮੁੰਢਹੁ ਘੁਥਾ ਜਾਇ ॥

ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ, ਘੋਖਣ ਤੇ ਬੋਲਣ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਲਾਭ ਹੈ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਐਨ ਮੂਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਘੁਸ ਜਾਵੇ?
What is the point of reading, studying and debating, if one loses his roots?
ਚਉਥੇ ਪਦ ਮਹਿ ਸਹਜੁ ਹੈ; ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਲੈ ਪਾਇ ॥੬॥

ਚੌਥੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਰੁਹਾਨੀ ਪਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਝੋਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
In the fourth state, there is intuitive balance; the Gurmukhs gather it in. ||6||
ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਹੈ; ਸਹਜੇ ਸੋਝੀ ਹੋਇ ॥
niragun naam nidhaan hai; sahaje sojhee hoe |
ਲਛਣਾ-ਰਹਿਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ। ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਗਿਆਤ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The Naam, the Name of the Formless Lord, is the treasure. Through intuitive balance, understanding is obtained.
ਗੁਣਵੰਤੀ ਸਾਲਾਹਿਆ; ਸਚੇ ਸਚੀ ਸੋਇ ॥
gunavantee saalaahiaa; sache sachee soe |
ਨੇਕੀ ਨਿਪੁੰਨ ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਆਖਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, "ਸੱਚੀ ਹੈ ਸ਼ੁਹਰਤ ਸਤਿਪੁਰਖ ਦੀ।"
The virtuous praise the True One; their reputation is true.
ਭੁਲਿਆ. ਸਹਜਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਸੀ; ਸਬਦਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਇ ॥੭॥
bhuliaa. sehaj milaaeisee; sabad milaavaa hoe |7|
ਘੁਥਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਮਿਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The wayward are united with God through intuitive balance; through the Shabad, union is obtained. ||7||
ਬਿਨੁ ਸਹਜੈ. ਸਭੁ ਅੰਧੁ ਹੈ; ਮਾਇਆ ਮੋਹੁ ਗੁਬਾਰੁ ॥
bin sahajai. sabh andh hai; maaeaa mohu gubaar |
ਬi੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ। ਮੋਹਨੀ ਦੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ-ਘੁੱਪ ਹੈ।
Without intuitive balance, all are blind. Emotional attachment to Maya is utter darkness.
ਸਹਜੇ ਹੀ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਈ; ਸਚੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਅਪਾਰਿ ॥
sahaje hee sojhee pee; sachai sabad apaar |
ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ-ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਨੰਤ ਸਚੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੀ ਮਸਝ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
In intuitive balance, understanding of the True, Infinite Shabad is obtained.
ਆਪੇ ਬਖਸਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਅਨੁ; ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕਰਤਾਰਿ ॥੮॥

ਖੁਦ ਮਾਫੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Granting forgiveness, the Perfect Guru unites us with the Creator. ||8||
ਸਹਜੇ ਅਦਿਸਟੁ ਪਛਾਣੀਐ; ਨਿਰਭਉ ਜੋਤਿ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
sahaje adisatt pachhaaneeai; nirbhau jot nirankaar |
ਆਤਮਕ ਟਿਕਾਉ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਡਿੱਠ, ਭੈ-ਰਹਿਤ, ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਰ-ਰਹਿਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਿਞਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
In intuitive balance, the Unseen is recognized-the Fearless, Luminous, Formless Lord.
ਸਭਨਾ ਜੀਆ ਕਾ ਇਕੁ ਦਾਤਾ; ਜੋਤੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਹਾਰੁ ॥
sabhanaa jeea kaa ik daataa; jotee jot milaavanahaar |
ਸਮੂਹ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕੋ ਹੀ ਦਾਤਾਰ ਹੈ! ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਵਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਚਾਨਣ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
There is only the One Giver of all beings. He blends our light with His Light.
ਪੂਰੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਲਾਹੀਐ; ਜਿਸ ਦਾ. ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰੁ ॥੯॥
poorai sabad salaaheeai; jis daa. ant na paaraavaar |9|
ਪੂਰਨ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਕਰ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਓੜਕ ਤੇ ਉਰਲਾ ਜਾਂ ਪਾਰਲਾ ਕਿਨਾਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
So praise God through the Perfect Word of His Shabad; He has no end or limitation. ||9||
ਗਿਆਨੀਆ ਕਾ ਧਨੁ. ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ; ਸਹਜਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਵਾਪਾਰੁ ॥
giaaneea kaa dhan. naam hai; sehaj kareh vaapaar |
ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ ਬੇਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਣਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who are wise take the Naam as their wealth; with intuitive ease, they trade with Him.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਲਾਹਾ. ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਲੈਨਿ; ਅਖੁਟ ਭਰੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ॥
anadin laahaa. har naam lain; akhutt bhare bhanddaar |
ਰੈਣ ਦਿਹੁੰ ਉਹ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਤੁੱਟ ਹਨ।
Night and day, they receive the Profit of the Lord's Name, which is an inexhaustible and over-flowing treasure.
ਨਾਨਕ. ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ; ਦੀਏ ਦੇਵਣਹਾਰਿ ॥੧੦॥੬॥੨੩॥
naanak. tott na aavee; dee devanahaar |10|6|23|
ਨਾਨਕ, ਜਦ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਕੋਈ ਕਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਾਪਰਦੀ।
O Nanak, when the Great Giver gives, nothing at all is lacking. ||10||6||23||
