Sajjan is described in traditional accounts as maintaining a respectable outward image while acting dishonestly. Through an encounter with Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the message of Gurbani, he reflects, repents, and redirects his life toward service. The sakhi emphasises self-examination and the possibility of moral transformation.
